Morgan Webb is probably best known for being the sort of woman that every nerd lusts after, given her vast knowledge of computers and video games. She started out as a contributor for TechTV’s popular show Screen Savers, and eventually wound up hosting a video game program called X-Play (which has since become one of the highest rated shows on the network).
2005 saw Morgan strengthening her position within the gaming community, mainly by emphasizing her enthusiasm for the genre on X-Play. She also served as cohost for G4’s (formerly TechTV) awards ceremony G-Phoria, which honored the best video games of the year. Finally, Morgan helped launch one of the biggest console systems in gaming history, the Xbox 360, with a splashy program entitled (appropriately enough) Countdown to Xbox 360.
Expect more of the same from Morgan in 2006, as she continues to host X-Play with Adam Sessler. And with the launch of the new PlayStation system just months away, there’s certainly a good chance that Morgan will be involved with a program highlighting its various attributes.
