What do Wilt Chamberlain, and Veronica Varekova have in common? They’ve all appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated. Fortunately for us, only Veronica appeared in a bikini. The Czech model has graced the magazine’s Swimsuit Edition six times and is also one of Victoria’s Secret’s heavenly angels.
Veronica continued to make our hearts flutter throughout 2005 with a string of picture-perfect ads. In addition to being one of Victoria’s Secrets best revelations, the blonde siren was the face of Nivea and appeared in spots for Guess?, Chanel and Pantene.
Expect to see plenty more of Veronica in the year ahead, as this blonde-haired, blue-eyed goddess continues to make a splash in the highly-competitive world of modeling. One place you shouldn’t bother looking for her, however, is the big screen. When asked where she sees herself in the future, she coyly replied, "It's not going to be Hollywood for me, darling." Did you hear that? We’re her darlings. Sigh.
