Middlesex native Keira Knightley impersonated as the Queen’s decoy in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace. For those of you who don’t sleep in your parent’s basements, you might remember her better as the dazzling damsel in distress in 2003’s Pirates of the Caribbean.
So much for typecasting. Keira tried to please all facets of her demographics in 2005 with a dizzying array of roles. The young star won over the stuffy literary crowd earlier in the year with Pride & Prejudice, then finished out 2005 as a lesbian fashion model-turned-bounty hunter in Domino. Even if you don’t like all of her films, you have to admire her howitzer-like range.
Look for Keira to continue her swashbuckling in the year ahead starting with Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. As for Keira’s chest, the odds we‘ll ever see her goods are better than you might think. "I don't have a problem with my body,” she says. “I'm not just going to strip off all my clothing, but if the part calls for it and I don't think there's any way round, I'm absolutely fine."
