Jennifer Hawkins isn’t your run-of-the-mill model, as evidenced by her multiple wins on the pageant circuit. Her illustrious career kicked into high gear after she won the title of Miss Australia, which afforded her the opportunity to participate in the 52nd edition of the Miss Universe pageant in 2004 (which she also went on to conquer).
Jennifer spent the majority of 2005 reveling in her Miss Universe victory and enjoying the various perks that come along with the title (including an all-expenses paid apartment in New York City). She also used her status for more than just getting loads of free stuff and transformed herself into a socially-conscious philanthropist (among the many causes that Jennifer supports are YouthAIDS and amfAR). Of course, we still favor her surface qualites -- and Jennifer doesn't mind. "I've always been a fan of AskMen.com -- they were one of the first Internet sites to profile me! Now that Jennifer’s reign as Miss Universe has come to an end (she’s been replaced by Canadian Natalie Glebova), her future is wide open. Expect to see her try her hand at modeling, and perhaps even take a shot at an acting career (hey, it worked for former Miss America champ ).
