Throughout 2005, men across America were desperately seeking Eva. The former soap opera star helped guide ABC’s Desperate Housewives to the top of the ratings, thanks largely to the behavior of her promiscuous character, Gabrielle Solis. Eva has also gained notoriety in the world of sports due to her longstanding relationship with NBA champion Tony Parker.
The success of Desperate Housewives presented Eva with a plethora of opportunities in 2005. In addition to hosting Saturday Night Live, the raven-haired vixen became a spokeswoman for L'Oreal. Finding herself in the top 10 of AskMen.com’s Top 99 was a nice perk, too, of which Eva remarked, “The success of Housewives over the past year helped me move up in the list, but that doesn’t change the fact that I’m flattered to be in the top 10 -- and grateful to all the AskMen.com readers who voted me there.”
Look for Eva to return to the big screen again this year in The Sentinel, a dark thriller costarring and Kiefer Sutherland. She’ll also appear with and Freddy Rodriguez in Harsh Times, and lend her sultry voice to the animated comedy Foodfight!, alongside noted horndog and the horndog-inspiring .
